Louisville

This past week my parents, my sister Jessie, Rob, Logan and I travelled to Louisville, Kentucky to visit my other sister Sam and her husband Andrei. Sam is about 7 months pregnant, it was so fun to see her with her baby bump and to see where they live. Kentucky is very beautiful, it's so green, with beautiful Victorian homes and old buildings that look like they've been there for hundreds of years. This was Logans first plane ride and he did really well. Here we are entertaining Logan during our layover.
Sam made us dinner the night we got there. She's turned into a great cook! Their apartment is so cute & homey! After a long day of travelling, Logan was so happy to strech out and play on the floor...he even rolled over for the first time! The Fresno State football team just happened to be playing Cincinnati while we were there, which was only an hour away. GO DOGS! This is the Cincinnati Bearcat Stadium, it is tucked into the middle of the campus. It's the 5th oldest college stadium in th US, very cool. They did a whiteout, where all their fans wear white so we really stuck out in our red. : )
It was a great game (even though we lost), fortunately it didn't rain, we had great seats and Logan enjoyed himself too! This was Andreis and Logans first live football game!
We went out to a nice dinner for Robs birthday. Happy birthday baby!!!
We toured the Louisville Slugger Museum and factory. It was very interesting to see how baseball bats are made. The majority of baseball bats are made at this factory.
The worlds largest bat is in front of the Louisville Slugger factory
Rob always wanted a bat with his name on it when he was a kid, so we bought one for Logan with his name on it. Just like the big leaguers.
Here we are with Babe Ruth.
We had to go to Indiana since it was only across the river. That weekend we saw three states, Kentucky, Ohio and Indiana. Me and my sisters!
We also toured Churchhill Downs, where the Kentucky Derby is held. That place is enormous! While we were there, Disney was getting things set up to film a movie about Secretariat, the triple crown winning horse in 1973. The infamous Tulip garden
Logan was getting tired of being in his carseat all the time so we tried out the stroller without it and he loved it!
Andrei gave us a tour of his Seminary, it is gorgeous with all the brick buildings and expansive lawns.
Thanks Sammy for having us, we had a wonderful time!
Here's Logan on the plane on our way home. All tuckered out.
